Choose Your Preferred Language

TownSq is now available in Spanish! Spanish-speaking users can now comfortably engage and participate fully in their community.

The TownSq mobile and web app is now available in Spanish to provide users with a seamless experience in their preferred language.

Setting the Default Language

To view the content in Spanish, the user needs to configure their internet browser (in the case of the web application) or the mobile device's operating system (in the case of the mobile application) to the Spanish language. This configuration is done in the browser or operating system settings.

Receiving Notifications and Emails in the Preferred Language

Although the application and website content may be displayed in Spanish, notifications and emails sent to customers will be sent out in English for the time being.

Our team is actively developing a new 'Language Preferences' section, so that all emails and notifications can eventually be sent in the default language users choose.

Selecting Automatic Language

The option to view the application and website in Spanish is automatically available to all users, depending on their device settings. This ensures that the Spanish language option is accessible to all users without requiring additional manual selection. Our system seamlessly adapts to the user's device settings, providing a user-friendly experience for a wide range of customers.

Understanding the Limitations on Automatic Translation

It is important to note that the automatic language selection described above only applies  to the default texts provided by our system. Any messages  written by users or managers will not undergo automatic translation. These user-generated texts will be displayed as entered without being translated. We recommend users and managers write content in the desired language to ensure that all recipients understand the message clearly.

Using the Current Language Availability for TownSq

Currently, we offer Spanish language support specifically for the "Communities" product. Users can access and use "Communities" in Spanish, in addition to English and Portuguese. However, please note that the "Business" product is currently available only in English and Portuguese. We want to assure you that we are actively working on updating the "Business" product to include Spanish language support as well. We understand the importance of providing consistent language options across all our products and aim to deliver this enhancement in the near future.

Using TownSq in the Future

As we continue to enhance and expand our application and website, we are committed to considering the needs of our diverse user base. All new developments and updates will be designed supporting three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
